  • Customer can carry their existing DEL number to their new VOBB line upon subscription to UniFi or during modify order.
  • With this enhancement, customer can maintain single telephone line at their home to receive and to make outgoing calls.

2) What would be the requirements to maintain my DEL number to Unifi?

  • Have an active DEL number tied to customer’s ID.
  • DEL number resides in the same exchange as Unifi installation.
  • No open orders on DEL number (Add Voice Plan, Relocate etc.)

3) How and where can I request to Maintain DEL number upon subscription to UniFi? 

  • You can apply during registration via few channels, namely TMPoint, TM Resellers, and also via I Love TM programme.

4) What are the orders applicable for Maintain DEL Number enhancement?

  • New Install, Modify Number, Modify Add Voice

5) Who can apply to maintain their DEL number upon subscription to UniFi?

  • All market segments can apply to maintain their DEL number. However, this enhancement is not applicable to Centrex service.

6) Is there any charges applied to the customer if they request to Maintain DEL?

  • No additional charges will be applied to customers, however the charges for Modify Number or Modify Add Voice (rental charges) is as per existing

7) What is the duration to activate the VOBB telephone service?

  • This process can take up to 48 hours once installation is completed.

8) Can I maintain the DEL number that is currently tied to my active Streamyx account?

  • No. You can only maintain the number when you upgrade the Streamyx account to Unifi.

9) Can I still use my DEL service prior to VOBB activation?

  • Yes, you can still use your DEL service until your VOBB is activated.

10) When will my VOBB be activated?

  • After PONR, your DEL service will be terminated and your VOBB will be automatically activated by the system. You shall check your VOBB dial tone to verify on the activation.

11) Who do I contact if my VOBB is not activated after 48 hours?

  • Please call 100.

12) Can I relocate my Unifi and maintain DEL number at the same time?

  • You must first relocate your Unifi. Once your relocate order is completed, you have to request for modify number order to maintain your DEL number.

13) Can I maintain DEL number for my Additional VOBB line and/or ATA?

  • Yes, you may as long as it meets the requirement specified above (FAQ No.2)

14) Will I be provided with a temporary VOBB number within the 48 hours of activation?

  • No, you are only provided with the number(s) requested during order capture i.e current DEL number.

15) Do I need to terminate my DEL line if I want to maintain the DEL number at VOBB?

  • No. You have to stay activated to maintain DEL number, and can’t terminate your line. Once your number is terminated, you cannot reuse or transfer the phone number out anymore

16) What happens when my VOBB number cannot be activated real time during installation?

  • TM Installer will contact JCC team. JCC team will then check the customer’s status and raise IRIS to ITOC team for their investigation accordingly. This process will be done within 48 hours after installation.

18) How about the contract and warranty status for DEL after the number has been transferred from Streamyx to UniFi?

  • The contract and warranty status for DEL will be renewed after it has been transferred as VOBB at UniFi.

19) What happen to outstanding unpaid bill/penalty imposed from Streamyx account if number has been transposed to UniFi account, will it be brought forward to UniFi account?

  • No, customer will continuously receive the unpaid bill from Streamyx account until the bill is paid. At the same time, customer will also receive a new bill from their UniFi account.
